The tapestry needle is a thick needle with a round tip, and a big eye. As its name indicates, it is ideal for sewing with tapestry wool yarn. It can also be used to sew your knitwear. They are also used on Aida-type cloth to make tapestries or cross stitch embroidery. The numbering corresponds to the size of each of the needle with Size 14 being longest & thickest and size 28 being the shortest and thinnest in series.
